In a contract it is of importance to state under which country's Laws will the contract be enforced. The clause known as Choice of Law is included in the majority of contracts of sale.
It is expected that the contract contains a stipulation stating that the contract's parameters are to be interpreted in the frame of laws of a particular country. In the case of purchasing a property in Cyprus the Laws of the Republic of Cyprus apply to all contracts of sale.
